We believe cities should be places where things are made. You should be able to live, work, eat, shop, create, build, raise children and grow old, all within walking distance. When manufacturing disappears from a city, something essential goes with it. The connection between making and buying. The chance to see a craft up close. The life that comes from mixed use.

Swedish mid-sized cities are struggling with this. Linköping. Västerås. Örebro. Norrköping. The pattern is the same everywhere. Manufacturing moved first to industrial zones, then commerce to retail parks, then to the internet. Restaurants remain. Big chains remain. Everything else struggles. Walk down a main street and count the empty storefronts. The "for lease" signs. The dark windows.

We're not pretending one wallpaper manufacturer will reverse this. But we can choose where we build. And we choose the city center of Linköping.

There are trade-offs. Higher rent. No loading dock. Customers can't pull up with a trailer. We'll figure it out. We gain being part of the city & community, bringing manufacturing back again, being able to run something we're proud of that resonates with our values.

We want to build Scandinavia's next great wallpaper house. The kind of company that changes how people think about wallpaper, about visual texture, about what walls can do to a room. That ambition could live anywhere. We're building it here. From the ground up. In the middle of town. In our hometown.
