A calm vertical study where hand-drawn lines drift in a softly irregular rhythm, carried by a palette of our bole mauve color, muted plum and olive charcoal over a pale linen-light ground. The design evokes the airy tactility of thin linen while the motifs echo the soft halo and impression shifts associated with hand block print traditions as well as japanese wabi-sabi.

Color palette
A grounded palette led by bole mauve and muted plum, deepened by olive charcoal and balanced by soft off-whites.
The design resembles thin linen with a cool, dry hand and faintly visible thread shifts that contribute to its drifting vertical structure. Pigment sits unevenly across the simulated weave, creating soft haloes, subtle breaks and tonal variation that echo the impression quality of hand block printing. The texture reads light, semi-transparent and gently irregular, enhancing the feeling of movement within the stripes.
