Pale Veil

In the Pale Veil Collection, a subtle, handmade-paper feel takes the lead. The motifs are muted and feel as embedded in the surface, present yet restrained, so the room can speak. From Asian floral cues to Nordic folk influences and simulated hand-printing: everything is there, but at a lower volume. The texture is built in layers: grain, fibre inclusions and micro-roughness, for that coveted, luxurious handmade-paper feel.

The Pale Veil Collection lets us at Linlava show our uncompromising view on texture. The motifs are toned down with surgical control over value and saturation, and every drop carries small, intentional shifts. The wall reads crafted and refined, not embellished, and gives the room breathing space.

We start from historical printing principles and materiality and translate them digitally. Thin, glaze-like layers simulate pigment settling into fibres; contours receive controlled, subtle transitions. The chalk-matte surface with grain, fibre flecks and micro-roughness, delivers the handcrafted materiality we pursue.

Pale Veil is made for spaces that want character and a sense of quiet luxury: living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms and hallways. The surface pairs especially well with wood, stone, wool and linen, and leaves room to add further layers of pattern, a pronounced skirting/baseboard, and art on the walls.
