How to order wallpaper from Linlava

Choose your wallpaper, then tell us about the walls it is going on. You can do this directly in our configurator, with a measured sketch, or by sending us photographs and measurements. There is no need to calculate rolls or drops. Windows, doors and angled cuts are deducted, so you only pay for the area that will actually be wallpapered.

Which way of ordering is right for me?

There are three ways to order wallpaper from Linlava. Each leads to the same result: wallpaper printed and cut to fit your room.

Order through the configurator

This is the most direct route when you want to enter the measurements and review the order yourself. Add the dimensions of each wall and its openings, then check the full summary before continuing.

Order with a measured sketch

Choose this route when you would rather draw the walls on paper. It works for straight walls, sloping ceilings, angled sections and walls of different heights. Use our template or a plain sheet of paper, add the measurements, photograph the finished sketch and email it to us.

Personal help with photographs and measurements

Photographs can help when the form of a wall or its details are easier to understand visually, or when you would like us to review the information before the order goes ahead. The order itself is always based on your measurements.

How do I order through the configurator?

On every Linlava product page, the ordering process begins under Measure & buy. The configurator takes you through the room in four stages:

1. Tell us how many walls you are wallpapering and whether they are the same height.
2. Enter the width and height of each wall.
3. Add windows, doors and other openings.
4. Review the preview, measurements and price before completing the order.

Enter the actual measurements in whole centimetres and do not add an allowance. You can order wallpaper for a single wall or continue the pattern around an entire room. Begin with the wall where hanging will start, then enter the remaining walls in order.

How do I order with a measured sketch?

Linlava's measuring template can be used for straight walls, sloping ceilings and angled sections. A copy is included with our wallpaper samples and can also be downloaded below. If you don't have access to a printer, plain paper works just as well.

The drawing does not need to be to scale. The written measurements are what matter. Draw one wall at a time and include:

• the width and height of the wall
• the width and height of windows and doors, including the surrounding frames or trim
• the position of each opening measured from the left-hand edge of the wall
• the lowest and highest points of a sloping ceiling or angled section

Number the walls clockwise and measure in whole centimetres without adding an allowance. Photograph the sketch and email it to support@linlava.com. We will review the information and send you a price together with a link to complete the order.

How do I get personal help with photographs and measurements?

You can send photographs together with your measurements when the shape of the wall or its details are easier to understand visually. A straight-on overview can help us see mouldings, stepped sections, sloping ceilings or other features that affect how the wallpaper should be prepared.

Number the photographs in the same order as the walls. Send the measurements, the position of any openings and the name of the wallpaper to support@linlava.com. We will contact you before the order proceeds if anything needs clarification.

What happens after I submit my measurements?

In the Linlava configurator, you can review the measurements, order summary and price before paying. When you send us a measured sketch or photographs, our team in Linköping reviews the information first. Windows, doors and angled sections are deducted, and we check that the wall sequence and measurements can be prepared as intended.

We will contact you if anything needs clarification. Once the information is complete, you will receive the price and a link to finish the order. The price is based on the actual area being wallpapered, without calculating rolls or paying for material that will not go on the wall.

What will I receive?

Every order is printed to your measurements in Linlava's atelier in central Linköping. The wallpaper arrives as pre-cut, numbered drops in hanging order. The pattern is prepared to continue from one drop to the next and, when the room has been ordered as a continuous sequence, around its corners.

The current production and delivery time is shown on each product page. When the wallpaper arrives, follow the numbering from left to right and work through the room in the same order used for the measurements.
